About Canfindings Garage Doors and How Referrals Work
What Canfindings Garage Doors Is
Canfindings Garage Doors is a referral service. We help homeowners who have never dealt with a garage door problem before. Think of us as a signpost at a fork in the road. We point the way. We do not walk it for you.
Why This Site Exists
A stuck door, a loud bang, or a cable that has gone slack can feel confusing. Many people do not know who to call or what to ask. We explain it first, in plain words, so you can make a calm choice.
Good information makes every step easier. When you know what a spring does, or why a track bends, you can follow what a provider tells you. You can also spot an answer that sounds vague.
Special Care for Older Homes
Older houses have stories inside their walls. Framing settles. Old repairs get layered on top of each other. Parts that were fine for decades may suddenly wear out. Older door, careful look. We encourage you to tell the provider how old your home is, so they can check for hidden surprises.
It also helps to mention if the opening looks uneven, if the door was added later, or if the wiring for the opener looks old. Small details like these help a provider plan the visit.
How We Match You With a Provider
You tell us what is happening. We share your request with an independent provider in our network who serves your area. The provider then talks with you about the problem, the visit and the price.
What We Ask of Providers
We ask providers in our network to:
- Explain the problem in simple words
- Give a written quote before work begins
- Treat your home with respect
- Answer your questions honestly
Providers run their own businesses. They set their own prices, schedules and methods.
What We Don't Do
Canfindings Garage Doors does not repair, install or service doors. The work is done by independent providers, not by Canfindings Garage Doors. We do not set the price. Any work is a deal between you and the provider you choose. Quote before work is a good rule to follow with anyone.
How Canfindings Garage Doors Earns Money
Providers in our network may pay Canfindings Garage Doors for referrals. You do not pay us to request a connection. You are never required to hire any provider, and there is no obligation.
